This summer, I’m all about finding the fun. As soon as it gets consistently warm in Chicago, I’m pretty sure I’ll be outside as much as possible. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that fashion changes from one season to the next and from one decade to the next. This includes fitness fashion. Is there a such thing as fitness fashion? YES! What we’re wearing when we workout has definitely evolved, and each decade has brought us fashions that are both hilarious and hideous. Somehow… some way… some fashion trends tend to come back full circle and some get left in the decade they were found in. The 80′s is one of those decades where we haven’t seen a lot of the fitness fashions come back to

For the past month, or so, I’ve been carrying around 2 phones. One is my regular Samsung Galaxy S that I’ve had for almost 2 years. The other is the incomparable Motorola DROID Razr HD I got through Verizon’s Health and Fitness Voices Program as an ambassador. I was pretty impressed with it when I first got it a few weeks ago and was like a kid in a candy story playing with all the features and discovering what it could do. I couldn’t possibly sum up this past weekend’s experience into one blog post. I can hardly stop thinking about the beauty of San Francisco, the race experience, all the Nike goodies I got, the new friends I acquired and the connections I made. I decided a video would be the next best thing to posting all of the pictures I took in an album on FB (which I still plan to do). It’s running season! Most of us have already taken to the streets, paths and pavement to achieve our running goals for the year. Whether you’re running your first 5K or your 12th marathon. I’m so excited about what’s to come and can’t wait to hit some of the races and events I’ve been planning for this year. I’ve gotten a few questions lately on building a good foundation as a runner.
