New core move! Add this awesome exercise to your core regimen. This particular exercise especially works your lower abs, but your entire mid-section, right down to your obliques, will be strengthened and toned. Enjoy!
Plank Triangle
Begin in plank position. Be sure your elbows are underneath your shoulders. Bring your hands together so that your forearms are in a “triangle”. Lower your hips so that your body is in a straight line. Hold the plank for 10 seconds.
Lift your hips straight up, bringing your body into a “triangle” position. Try and press your heels down into the ground, stretching your calves. Bring your head down so that your ears are in line with your arms. Hold the “triangle” for about 6 seconds. Come back down into plank position, holding for 10 seconds and repeat.
Continue moving from plank position into the “triangle” for one whole minute, without lowering your hips or breaking the plank. It’s a challenge, but so worth it!
