Monday Motivation – Water and Sweat

As a part of this journey into establishing a business that serves people in the best way possible, I was looking to get a logo for Renewed Fitness. Like most small businesses, one of the first things you establish is what you want your business to look like. Your logo reflects your vision for who and what you are in business for. What’s even more interesting is that I couldn’t, for the life of me, think of what I wanted my logo to look like. I knew my mission, I’d set my goals, I had my vision. But a logo, what would that look like?

After telling my good friend Luvvie (www.AwesomelyLuvvie.com) that I really wanted and needed a logo for Renewed Fitness, she contacted her good friend George Deron (@mrsmartguy) and surprised me with this…



As soon as I saw it something in me went…”Yup, that’s it!” It was almost like George could read my mind. It was precise, very cute and very fitting for what Renewed Fitness is all about.

The two-toned blue drop is indicative of the renewing power of water and the sweat it takes to be fit. Not to mention, the dumbbell in the middle, representing the strength and power of where a renewed mind can take you.

The awesome thing about water and sweat is that both are necessary for your body to change. We all know that our body’s are made mostly of water and without water we could die. I always stress to my clients (and to everyone) to hydrate, with water, as much as possible. If you don’t like water or become bored with it, flavor it with lemon, cucumber, mango, lime, ginger…anything that will make you drink it. In that same notion our bodies get rid of water when we workout in order to cool down. We also push out toxins and our bodies get rid of what works against it for health and beauty. As we sweat and workout, its inevitable that positive change will happen. Stronger… harder… faster…
