I’m not sure if Jordin Sparks could have anticipated the impact of this song and it’s powerful lyrics. I call this Motivating Music because of the simple message that if we slow down and get some perspective on things, we CAN accomplish everything we’ve set out to do. When it comes to working out, it’s the same way. Meeting a certain fitness or health goal takes hard work, faith and consistency. Trying to accomplish too much at once will discourage your journey, but small steps that are geared toward changing your lifestyle will make a great impact!

Hi Lisa! Thanks for the question. What matters with walking is just that you get your heart-rate up and work up a sweat. For some people, picking up the pace will achieve this. You definitely don’t want to just stroll or walk slowly if you’re really trying to get a workout. You should be out of breath, but able to hold a normal conversation. Hope this helps!
