Last Monday, I was walking home from work and decided I wanted to challenge myself to stop letting fear make excuses for me. Especially when it came to studying for my PT certification. I wanted to start off with something I knew would be a challenge: 7 days of making no excuses for getting things done.
I have a horrible tendency to start things and not finish them for whatever reason. Most of the time, the reason is I’m scared. This week was all about burying that fear and sticking to what I started. I have to say…it felt incredible to start studying a chapter and finish it, make calls I was scared to make, return emails I kept putting off, and make progress on small personal projects. I don’t know about you, but when things work out successfully the first time, I try to find a way to continue it. I want making no excuses to become a lifestyle, a habit.
The toughest part was probably initially admitting that I have a problem with feeling inadequate and fearful all the time and that can’t ever finish anything because of that. These 7 days were definitely a stepping stone to understanding that it’s possible to push past what’s holding me back. Thank you to everyone who offered their support and encouragement! I truly appreciate you believing in me.
If you decided to join me, how did it go for you? What were you able to accomplish this week? Share!
Be Renewed

Congrats!!! I did the #NoExcuseChallenge right with you. I pushed myself with my running and by Sunday, I cranked out 4 miles. My original goal was 3 by Labor Day but now I’m changing that to 5. Go team! *high five*
