Let the 2012 Chicago Marathon Training Begin!

I think I’m officially a “marathoner”. But to me that means something different than what it’s typically referred to. I’ve seen the title “marathoner” refer to folks who run marathons back to back within weeks of each other. Or folks who’ve won them in record time. I’m definitely in neither of those categories. And it isn’t my goal to fall into those categories either. I run marathons to continue to prove to myself that I can. I run to inspire others to break out of their boxes and tear down their limits. Introducing…The Nike Chicago LunarGlide+3

If there’s one thing that’s always consistent about Chicago, it’s the fact that this is one city that really knows how to celebrate. This weekend was a strong testament to this fact as Nike launched the Chicago LunarGlide+3 to coincide with the Chicago Marathon. The anticipation and excitement of the arrival of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon has me on the edge of my seat! As many of you may know, I’ve been training for 20 weeks to run the Chicago Marathon and I can’t wait to hit the pavement.
