Y’all know I love my beloved planks. They are the absolute best. So many variations can be done with them. I like to think of push ups as a plank variation, too. It is essentially a high plank that changes levels several times. You core should be continuously engaged and tight during a push up. See!? For women especially, push ups can be really tough, but what we should be aiming for is QUALITY, not QUANTITY. Another monthly challenge!? Yup! This one is going to be really simple and fun (but of course a challenge). Every day in November, I will post a fitness move you can do with no-weight and no-equipment to. Your challenge – try it! And repeat each move 20 times. Including today, there are exactly twelve days before we hit Christmas, and I couldn’t be more excited! It’s around this time of year that most people either put their fitness into gear and step it up or decide to wait until the new year to start fresh with getting in shape. So, for those who’ve decided that Christmas dinner and desserts, candy canes, fruit cakes, cookies, hot chocolate and cider would not completely sabotage all their hard work, I’ve put together a “12-day challenge” with amazing moves that are modifications to traditional exercises (push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, lunges, squats, curls, etc.) Each day will feature a different move.
