A shoe for yoga?
That’s what I thought when I first saw the Nike Studio Wrap on Pinterest about a month ago. I was definitely intrigued. Especially since I’ve begun to really increase my yoga practice. So, when I got the invite a few weeks ago to come and experience the new Studio Wrap at the new Chicago Nike Training Club location in Lincoln Park (located at 833 W. Armitage), I was pretty excited! The store itself is extremely impressive and you can tell the folks from Nike Chicago really put their hearts into making it welcoming, feminine and boutique-style. I love it! Continue reading →
I couldn’t possibly sum up this past weekend’s experience into one blog post. I can hardly stop thinking about the beauty of San Francisco, the race experience, all the Nike goodies I got, the new friends I acquired and the connections I made. I decided a video would be the next best thing to posting all of the pictures I took in an album on FB (which I still plan to do). In order for me to function and for my body to work properly, it’s vitally important that I have it. Running is my oxygen. I may sound like a lunatic for saying all that, but those of you reading this, who run, probably know what I’m talking about. Continue reading →
If there’s one thing that’s always consistent about Chicago, it’s the fact that this is one city that really knows how to celebrate. This weekend was a strong testament to this fact as Nike launched the Chicago LunarGlide+3 to coincide with the Chicago Marathon. I was more than excited to come out to help celebrate the release of this shoe and definitely got more than I expected. Continue reading →
9 more days…
216 more hours…
The anticipation and excitement of the arrival of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon has me on the edge of my seat! As many of you may know, I’ve been training for 20 weeks to run the Chicago Marathon and I can’t wait to hit the pavement. So many things are happening around the Chicago area to celebrate the coming of the marathon. Continue reading →
