New Beginnings: Switching to a Plant-Based Diet

Happy 2013, everyone!

I didn’t dive right into writing posts about resolutions, goals, challenges and making 2013 “the best year” right away. Simply because, as of a few years ago, I don’t really believe in resolutions. I believe in setting goals and following through with a plan to achieve them, whatever time of year. Not just in January. Most resolutions I always hear are so lofty and often unrealistic. It pushes me further away from making them and just sticking with my own meaning of doing things with no fear, doing the best I can in everything I do, and living every day to the fullest. And it is always my hope that those who choose January to make very big resolutions are able to stick with them and succeed. Continue reading →
